The Man Behind Gowoonsesang Cosmetics

Gowoonsesang Cosmetics is founded by Dr. Ahn Gun Yong, a dermatologist. The cosmetic company is the World’s 2nd largest medical group and number 1 in Korea. Before coming up with Dr. G, he has practiced dermatology and specialized in skin restoration for over 20 years. 

He went to medical school targeting dermatology because he got a scar on his face from a burn that he got when he was a child. This pushed him to specialize in skin restoration which he did and he was able to treat his scar. 

Dr. Ahn established Gowoonsesang Cosmetics together with 15 co-founders for aesthetics, plastics surgery services, and dermatology in Seoul, South Korea. Gowoonsesang means Beautiful World. They did well until patients looked for products from their clinic. Hence, Dr. G was born.
